What should we add next?

Missing an Excel formula, function, or exercise? Request it and upvote what others want. The most-wanted ones get built.

Your request goes straight into To do, where everyone can vote on it.

We build the most-upvoted requests first. One upvote per person, per request.

  • LAMBDA function

    LogicExcel team

Thanks for the request. There is no LAMBDA exercise yet, and I would like there to be. The closest thing we have today is our German guide at /de/functions/lambda-excel-erklarung. It walks through testing a LAMBDA in a cell and saving it in the Name Manager, so if you read German it will help right now. An English version is worth doing either way. One thing worth knowing before you go looking: LAMBDA is Microsoft 365 only, so on an older Excel it will not be there at all. I will update this card when we build it.

  • Running total

    LogicExcel team

Thanks for asking for this. There is no running total exercise yet, but two pages will get you there today. /functions/offset builds a running total step by step. And if your numbers are in a PivotTable, /tutorials/pivot-tables covers the Running Total In setting, which does it without a formula at all. The exercise we want to add is the everyday one, =SUM($B$2:B2) filled down the column. It is on the list, and I will update this card when it lands.

We are building these right now.

  • Can you give me a pdfs of all the excercises for excel

    LogicExcel team

Yes, and it is being worked on. We are building out deeper premium content at the moment, and downloadable resources are part of that: workbooks and printable exercise sets, rather than a flat PDF of the screens, which would lose the grid you actually type into. No date yet and I would rather not invent one. The 95 practice lessons stay free in the browser whatever happens to the downloads.

Shipped. Open one and practise it.

  • COUNTIFS

    LogicExcel team

Good news, this one is already here. COUNTIFS is lesson 27: /practice/27. Ten screens on a real grid, starting with two conditions and working up to criteria like ">1". If you would rather build up to it, COUNTIF with a single condition is lesson 26, and lesson 56 is a longer practice run once it clicks. Sorry you had to ask for something we already had. That one is on us.

  • when i am doing pratice question then close it then again open then it will again start from the beggining

    LogicExcel team

Fixed and live. You were right, and it turned out to be two bugs rather than one. The lesson now reopens on the question you stopped at, with a note saying so and a Start over button if you would rather take it from the top. The second one was worse and we would not have found it without your report. XP was only ever recorded for the FIRST question of a lesson if you answered everything correctly. A perfect run of a ten-question lesson paid 10 XP instead of 100, and getting an answer wrong was the only thing that unstuck it. That is also why reopening dropped you at the beginning: the site only ever remembered question one. Both are fixed. Try it here: /practice/1

  • Practical Test

    LogicExcel team

    There you go /courses

  • Pivot tables

The attached file doesn't work in the pivot table exercises, so we can't use it. The same problem applies to other dashboard-like exercises. Furthermore , the SQL section has the same issue. If you fix these , the site will be perfect . I hope you will.

    LogicExcel team

All attachments are now working, hope it helps.

  • puedo agregar amigos?

    LogicExcel team

How this board works

LogicExcel is shaped by the people who use it. If there is an Excel skill you want to practise that we do not cover yet, a tricky formula, a function like XLOOKUP or LAMBDA, a shortcut, or a real task from your job, add it to the board. Every request is public, anyone can vote, and the ones with the most votes are the ones we build next. Once we start on a request it moves to Doing, and when it ships it moves to Done with a link straight to the exercise.
