Correct. 250.

You type it. The engine works it out against the workbook, so a different route to the right answer still counts.

Working With Sheets

Move around a sheet without reaching for the mouse, write formulas that reference cells instead of typed numbers, and hand the file to somebody else without it falling apart.

You will be able to: You can build and hand over a sheet that survives being sorted, filtered and printed.

Text, Tables and Clean-up

Take a messy export and make it usable: rebuild text from one worked example, turn ranges into Tables that grow themselves, summarise in thirty seconds, and set the whole clean-up to repeat next month.

You will be able to: You can turn a fortnightly export into a report without redoing the work each time.

Assumes: Excel I, or you are already comfortable writing a formula and locking a reference.

Lookups and Logic

You will be able to: You can build a commission run that reconciles, and prove that it does.

Assumes: Excel II, or you already use Tables and structured references.

Marked on what your formula produced

Your answer is evaluated against real data, cell by cell, and the feedback tells you what it produced rather than whether it matched a string. Get there a different way and it still counts. That is also why the exam can be trusted: nothing is graded by pattern-matching a text answer.

Every course ends in a real exam

Timed, unseen, and drawn from questions that appear nowhere in the lessons. Three attempts, a day between them, seventy percent to pass. That is what makes the certificate worth having.
