Was du in dieser TIME Functions-Lektion üben wirst

1. Excel stores time as a fraction of a day. =NOW() returns the current date and time. Type =NOW() in B2. - NOW has no arguments. It recalculates whenever the sheet does. TODAY() is date only; NOW() is date plus time.
2. Build 9:15 AM from hour, minute, second. Type =TIME(9,15,0). - TIME(hour, minute, second) returns a time serial. 9:15 is 9.25 hours / 24. Format the cell as Time to see 9:15 AM instead of 0.385.
3. Same time, from the cells. Hour is in A2, minute in B2: =TIME(A2,B2,0). - Pull hour and minute from the grid instead of typing them. Second argument 0 means on the minute.
4. B2 already holds a TIME. Pull the hour with =HOUR(B2). - HOUR returns 0–23. 14:30 is 2:30 PM, so HOUR is 14. MINUTE and SECOND work the same way.
5. Same stamp. Pull the minutes: =MINUTE(B2). - 14:30 has minute 30. HOUR, MINUTE, SECOND split a time serial back into parts you can test or add.
6. Hour of right now: =HOUR(NOW()). - Nest NOW inside HOUR (or MINUTE) when you need the current clock part. This updates every recalc, same as NOW.
