Day 3: Summarise with SUMIFS

Total the clean lines by category and by week with SUMIFS, set them against the budget, and read the variance with the right sign.
Your manager's question is not 'show me the lines'. It is 'where did the money go this month, and how does that compare with the plan?'. SUMIFS answers it by adding only the lines that meet your conditions. It works today because Day 1 gave every category one spelling and every date a real value.
